Understanding heating applications and solutions for upstream, mid-stream, down-stream, petro-chemical, power, and other industrial facilities so that the best solution is applied.  The differences in winterization and process heating systems in the southern U.S. compared to northern climates. 

Presenter : Kirk Dippel, Thermon, Gulf Coast Manager of Sales

Technical and commercial expert in heating solutions; electric and steam heat tracing, pre-insulated tubing bundle, process and immersion heating, gas catalytic heaters, enclosure and environment heating, thermal insulation, and turnkey solutions.

Responsible for projects ranging in size from single circuit applications to over $50 million (+10,000 circuits). Worked on projects in Sakhalin Island – Russia, Alaska’s North Slope, Alberta – Canada, the North Sea, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, and most places in between.

Worked as an Electrician’s Apprentice between semesters of college. Graduated from Texas A&M University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Distribution. Works at Thermon for 23-years and counting; 2 years engineering & estimating, 6 years direct sales & project management, 5 years Regional Sales Manager – Central U.S., 3 years Strategic Accounts Manager, 7 years Gulf Coast Manager of Sales.
