Abstract:

The presentation will discuss fixed gas detector sensing technologies along with technical comparisons of diffusion-based and open path/line of sight instrument configurations. Optical flame detection and FGFD systems will also be discussed.

Presenter Bio: Dave has served over 34 years in the high-hazard safety systems industry in a variety of professional roles including Field Service, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales. He currently serves as North America Business Development Manager, Fixed Gas and Flame Detection at MSA Safety.
