The presentation offers vendors perspectives on how we can work better together to improve level instrumentation selection.  An overview of the popular types of level instrumentation offered and the pros and cons of each is included. The following bullet points outline the content of the presentation.

  • An educational presentation offering a look at how we specify, select and order level instrumentation
  • Some simple rules of thumb for selection
  • What ISA and vendors offer for assistance
    Overview of guided wave radar, free space radar, differential pressure/hydrostatic level, electronic remote seals, ultrasonic, magnetic level indicator, magnetostrictive, laser, capacitance, and displacer/buoyancy
  • Audience feedback and commentary welcome

Presented by:

Jeff works with a Mid-Atlantic based sales team focusing on instrumentation and controls (I&C) solutions for CAPEX beginning in FEED and FEL stages.  Jeff has over 15-years of experience in the life cycle of I&C sales.  He is an ISA Senior Member.

Trey currently functions as the US specialist for the ABB level measurement portfolio. He’s worked with numerous instrument manufacturers and has worked as a product manager. With a decade of experience in level measurement, he’s focused in specifying best technology for their respective applications.
