A presentation of commonly observed issues in fired equipment installations that impact safe and reliable operation of the equipment. Discussion of underlying principles, constraints, requirements and best practices in Fired Equipment Instrumentation Control and Protection.
Presenter: Brad Bonnette, Technical Authority, Wood System Integration – Americas
Brad Bonnette is the Technical Authority for Wood’s Systems Integration business and has over 35 years of experience in industrial processing, process control, control and safety systems, process operation and management including information technology management. He is licensed Professional Engineer, Certified Automation Cybersecurity Expert, and active member of ISA 84 standard subcommittees on Cybersecurity for SIS, Burner Management Systems, API 556 committees for control and protection of Process Heaters. Brad has been designing, implementing and troubleshooting fired equipment control and protection systems since the mid 1980s.
