SUMMARY:How an APC Project is Generally Done in Air Liquide with its Different Stages and Challenges
DESCRIPTION:In-Person: $20 for ISA members and $30 for non-members \nVirtual: Free for ISA members and $5 for non-members \nSummary: \nAir Liquide demonstrates a comprehensive approach to Advanced Process Control (APC) projects through distinct stages and challenges. Beginning with documentation and MOC preparation\, going through OPC communication configuration\, historian trends assessment and all the way to modeling\, simulation and testing\, the APC team faces several challenges and moves forward by implementing innovative solutions. This presentation will show some of those challenges and solutions with real project examples. \nDate: Wednesday\, September 6th \nTime: Lunch at 11 AM\, Presentation 11:30 AM to 1 pM \nPresenter: Mauricio Palencia Garza \n \nMauricio is a Chemical Engineer graduated in 2017 from the university Tec de Monterrey\, in Mexico. Right after his graduation\, he started his professional career with Air Liquide Mexico as a Process Control Engineer\, in which he had the opportunity to learn a wide range of Automation topics within Air Separation Units (ASUs) and Steam Methane Reforming plants (SMRs). Mauricio transitioned to Air Liquide US in 2022 to pursue specialization in Advanced Process Control and he is now an integral member of the APC Team that implements and maintains projects in ASUs and SMRs. \nRegister using the form below \n  \n\n\n\n\n	Notice: JavaScript is required for this content.\nNo Fields Found.
