DESCRIPTION:In-Person: $20 for ISA members and $30 for non-members \nVirtual: Free for ISA members and $5 for non-members \nSummary: \nAir Liquide demonstrates a comprehensive approach to Advanced Process Control (APC) projects through distinct stages and challenges. Beginning with documentation and MOC preparation\, going through OPC communication configuration\, historian trends assessment and all the way to modeling\, simulation and testing\, the APC team faces several challenges and moves forward by implementing innovative solutions. This presentation will show some of those challenges and solutions with real project examples. \nDate: Wednesday\, September 6th \nTime: Lunch at 11 AM\, Presentation 11:30 AM to 1 pM \nPresenter: Mauricio Palencia Garza \n \nMauricio is a Chemical Engineer graduated in 2017 from the university Tec de Monterrey\, in Mexico. Right after his graduation\, he started his professional career with Air Liquide Mexico as a Process Control Engineer\, in which he had the opportunity to learn a wide range of Automation topics within Air Separation Units (ASUs) and Steam Methane Reforming plants (SMRs).
