Speaker: Rahul Bhojani, P.E. has been working for Bayer Technology Services in Baytown, TX as Process Control Systems Engineer for the past 5 years. He is responsible for development and execution of projects including scope, estimates, specification and purchase of instrumentation and control systems. Earlier he worked for Siemens (India) as an Industrial Automation and Process Control Engineer for 3 years. He is a voting member on the ISA SP99 Committee and has been actively involved with the development of the standard since 2003. He has a B.E. in Instrumentation Engineering from University of Bombay, India and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

Topic: SP99 - Networking Security: Rahul Bhojani will provide an update on work done by the ISA SP99 Committee on Manufacturing and Control Systems Security. The presentation will provide a brief history and background on control network security. It will cover technical reports that have been published by the committee and the proposed architecture of the standard. The status of Part 1 and Part 2 of the standard will be discussed. The presentation will also highlight work done by the liaison working group with other standards organizations.
